I like it because this is my current home and my career is here. I love it because it is quiet, interesting, and shows great spirit for so many causes (sports, politics, kids, basketball, and travel). What do you think?

I lived in North Carolina a few years back and want to move back. right now I'm stuck in Ohio and think it's so depressing compared to N.C. The people aren't as rude and seem a lot friendlier. There is a lot more sunshine there too, which we don't see on a normal basis here and I like that the winters down there aren't as harsh.

North Carolina is a wonderful state. I'm a little biased, because I'm a native born in Raleigh. Many people from all over the US have discovered it as well; it seems like they are moving here in droves! We still have small towns, rural communities, and the best of both worlds...beach and mountain access in one state. Love it.

I was born and raised in NC and I still live here now. I have flirted with the idea of moving only once (to Florida) for a better job. I enjoy NC. The fact that I can take off one weekend and go to the coast or head to the mountains is a plus for me. I do live in an area that is considered rural but I live close enough to the city that I can still enjoy the night life or shopping. I am a die hard Tarheels Fan as well as rooting for the Carolina Panthers! I do like NC!

it's ok. i moved to the Greensboro area and spent 3 years but we didn't really care for it. Then we moved to the Cary area and we like it much better. It is more like Long Island. Guess it is because there are a lot of northerners
