When ya start a topic and get a few responses, do you respond to the responses, or just let the topic die on it's own after several people added their 2 cents worth?

yep its good to keep things going, instead of everyone starting topic after topic on the same things.

hmmm yes. that is a good point. Usually though when I pick one to respond to I respond only to that one. If i see another person post another topic on the same subject matter I just leave it alone. Unless I'm just super bored.

I respond to everyone, out of courtesy's sake. My topics still die of natural deaths even if I do that though... lol. But I do show my appreciation to those that do reply, no matter how few they may be.

I try to respond to everyone who takes the time to respond to my discussions since they were so kind to do so. I would imagine that I would stop responding to someone who ignored my 2 cents worth again and again and the point of starting a discussion is to get responses.

I try to respond. If they took the time to respond to me then the least I can do is respond back. After all it is suppose to be a discussion and that means communicating back and forth. Otherwise I really don't see the point unless a person is just trying to spout off something and has no real interest in discussing anything.

I always try and respond back but I don't always get the chance to or sometimes I really don't know what to respond back to them. I always try to come up with something though even if it is just something small.

I try to respond to everyone who has taken the time to respond to me. If I don't it is because their response got overlooked. I really enjoy hearing what people have to say. I have already gotten a lot of useful information and insights in the short time since I joined.
