Some folks say about after 5 years then adjustment period starts.Well it happens to some and in fact, it also happens to me... i thought there's a misconception on this, coz my marriage life then is actually an extension of our steady period days...i never experience cared and loved by him, ...After a while, i started to noticed that thrills and excitements gone....well, they said that it's normal but my realization was shocks me..i easily get irritated by his jokes, habits and vice versa...thus,it hits us both....Honestly, it bothers me that's why i tried to make things easy and deal with this adjustment period accordingly....What i did was communicate with him heart to heart and at the same time listened to his side....We made a deal so that we'll meet halfway..Amazingly, it works with us...and thanks GOD for everything that's happening now...!...

my mother in law always said that every year is an adjustment period. this is because most people are not static beings. every year we go through changes in personality and character borne out of experiences and circumstances. she told me to be always prepared to adjust to these constant changes in both myself and my husband

the most adjustments that could be made is to have your wife retire aproximetly
10 years after you do. i spent those 10 years taking care of my grandchildren,
working around the house, helping with the laundry. now that she is home all day
i can't do anything right. i get jumped on for things i was suppost to have
done 40 years ago. she hadf too much time on her hands. she now watches
the new 2 year old grandbaby. because i don't know how. the ones i watched
are now 19 and 16. she wasn't there for those she worked. i have become the most
useless and inconsiderate s.o.b. that ever lived. what is a man to do.
i spend a lot of time now in the basement trying to hide but she jumps on me
for that. if i was a drinking man i would find a bar to hide in.
again what is a man to do. help
