I saw the first lady and president dance their first dance. I thought the white dress showed times of change as it looked like she could walk down the red carpet. I think it was a good move since she is going to a bunch of dressy parties it just showed she looked classy and in style not frumpy I am giving this a thumbs up it was like a breath of fresh air, what do you think?

Michelle Obama is a beautiful and elegant lady with a great instinct for fashion. She knows what looks good on her and is willing to make some bold and interesting choices. I love the fact that she is willing to support young, up and coming fashion designers as opposed to the same old names that come up in every issue of every fashion magazine on the market.
So far I think that Mrs. Obama's choices have been bang-on. I didn't get to see footage of the ball, only one of the pictures of her from the internet. My only issue is that the dress didn't seem to have a well-defined waistline. But then, it could simply be the angle of the shot and the way her arms were positioned.
I know that some critics feel the dress was more appropriate for a prom than an inaguration. I disagree. The gown is lovely and in my opinion the softer details make her look fresh and youthful. Had she gone for anything "safer", she could have run the risk of looking too frumpy.
Yes, thumbs up on this one!
