Just wondering how many foods are considered to be aphrodisiacs?
Also which ones work the best?

Here in the Philippines, we have BALUT or Duck's fetus. They say that it was an aphrodisiac and it gives boost effect like energy drink that makes a person lively and energetic but it is high in cholesterol content so eating of Balut egg is in moderation. I've eaten once but I cant eat the fetus and I only eaten the other part of the Balut egg. If you have seen the Amazing race Asia season 1 when they visited my country and they eaten Balut eggs as part of their task.

I think that at one time or another someone has claimed just about every food for this. There is only one food that I have found from experience to be an aphrodisiac, and that is the raw oyster. A close second, although I can't confirm this one, is chocolate.

I saw on TV that spice food works. Try preparing some gambas!

I've read that oysters and spices are some of the best aphrodisiacs in the world. They also say chocolate is an aphrodisiac. Sadly I haven't yet tried any one of them.
