What do you prefer as pet, dogs or cats?

Dog's. Big dogs. The one I have now is a Great Dane / Boxer mix. He's on the elderly side now with probably only a year or two left. I don't know what my next one will be I just know it will be another big dog...and like this one it will have short hair. I like the long hair dogs too, but I hate the shedding, and it rains all winter here and the long haired ones always brought more dirt in stuck to them then the short hair dogs I've had.

I am not really into any pets. Since I started living with my husband which happened to be a great pet lover since his childhood, this leads me to become a "little bit" pet lover...lol. Since we have a kitty, I thought it would be hard for me to adjust but I was wrong. We have a cat, and I am asking my husband that I want to have another pet which is a dog, either a terrier or labrador.

I prefer cats. I like that they hygiene freak and also they don't jump over us when we come home and doesn't demand too much attention. I don't like the way dog wants to be with you all the time and i don't like the way they keep wagging their tails. Cats are cute. Till now we have two dogs and 10 cats as pet. I am waiting when my cat will give babies lol. I just adore kittens.

A dog,the cat is proud,and they would elope with another cat at any time.

I prefer dogs because their very loyal companions that can make you smile. My favorite dogs are Minature Schnauzer because they are perfect lap dogs and gaurd dogs.

for me i prefer dog, as they are fun and very involved on any activities... and i think they are so easy to train,,, and as many people say, dog is a man's best friend.

I do prefer dogs as my pets because I think dogs can adjust with humans very fast and become their friends easily

I prefer dogs. I do like cats, and they can be a lot easier to care for, but I'm a lot more allergic to cats than I am to dogs. Both dogs I've had so far have been dachshunds, I find them to be very nice natured animals, which is fairly unusual in small dogs.

I prefer dogs over cats. I am negative about cats because they always eat the foods left at our table. They kept on sneaking for leftover foods.
