I'm glad the problem seems fixable...I always thought that if you spilled liquid on your laptop it was ruined...you mention water...I'm more likely to spill a cup of coffee on mine...I wonder if the same fixes apply??? Probably not.

Well turn it off immediately if its turned on. I think you should try to dry it as fast as possible. If you have hair dryer then blow it off and turn it upside down so that the air won't go down the processor but drip outside the side of the keyboard. If you are truly sure that it is dried then perhaps to be doubly sure you bring it to your nearest laptop repair shop and have it checked if the water hasn't sipped through your processor or motherboard to be sure.

Don't turn on your laptop, remove the battery and place your laptop in warm place around 30°C~40°C waiting until dried off. I hope your laptop get working again.

Put it under sunshine. Also, take out its battery for drying. Put the laptop upside down so that water may be drained out from keyboard.

oh..dont try to switch it ON now.If you spilled litte amount of water first wipe it out clearly and use your hair dryer blow and make all water drain. If you spilled more water then dont wait go to a service center immediately.Because if the ICs gets wet it will end up in major problems. Hope you get it.
