I do one "big" grocery shopping trip per week, and that about three or four days later I do a "light" grocery shopping for things we run out quickly (like milk, bread, eggs, and stuff like that). The grocery store is far away from where we live, so I try to keep trips to a minimum each week.

Grocery shopping is done when items get low in our house which is mostly once in every two months. There's only my husband and me in the home and our consumption is low so we don't go every week or every month. Mostly is once in every two months.

I shop once a week, but now since my husband had his stroke and cannot drive, I will shop every two days as that is what I can carry. The trouble is that when it is colder, that is the week I do not get a ride and have to walk there to the grocers myself. I takes about an hour to do it all and it is freezing. I will see what the weather is like tomorrow.

I think we do it maybe once every two weeks. We are not great at it but try to save food as much as possible.

We always have our food shopping every two weeks, that is every payday! But, there are days when we are out of stock then we will just drop by in the store which is 5-8 minutes drive from us!

I do one BIG shopping trip a month. I have a list of everything needed as I have everything in my cupboards and frezzer aranged so I know if I am getting low on something and need to restock. I buy in bulk and that seems to save money. Then through out the month I will pick up a gallon of milk here and there, and if there is something else that we absolutly want and I didnt buy during my grocery trip then I will get it but other then that I dont hit the grocery store through out the month. I always have food and a variety to choose from so there isnt a need to.

We were going once every 2 weeks, when hubby got paid, Now it is once a week. His pay got switched to weekly...which is awesome!!!! I like the weekly much better, I can get stuff when I want to instead of having to wait until the next week.

I used to grocery shop every week, then I cut it down to every two weeks, now that I am still unemployed, I do not grocery shop that much. I make do with what I have, and maybe I am able to replensish milk, bread, eggs etc, if I have the money. Thank God for family and friends, because they have been bringing me food, so I have been able to eat during these trying times, but I do not go grocery shopping much. I used to hate to go grocery shopping, but now if or when I have money, I am so excited about going to the store. You never know what life throws your way.

Hello explorations! I do grocery once a week. I think going back and forth to the market is very tiring aside from the time is really wasting.

I used to make one big buy everytime I go paid but I found that the stuff didnt last very long as I usually over ate when I saw the food .As a result of which I now buy groceries every week and I find that serves my purpose better as I am forced to use what I have until the next week comes around.I am even finding that sometimes becasue I still have some of theitem remaining from teh previuos week I end up buying less.

I usually do a list, but lately for some reason I've been forgetting a thing or two! I just moved in to a new place, and with all the excitement I bought dishwashing liquid and forgot to buy a sponge! Thank goodness I bought it today.
