I used to think of babies names getting ready for when the time that I will be pregnant. I want to combine the names of both my father and mother or my mother-in- laws name as well as my husbands name. I'm thinking of Janna Marie and Maria Katrina (girls) and a boy named after the father which my husband don't like. But maybe you can help me with some unique and nice names for baby girl and baby boy.

I named my son Roman Xavier. I really felt it was a good, strong, masculine name. However, for girls, I've had several ideas. One of which is to honor where I'm from as well as my great-grand mother: Savannah Justine. However, I also really like the names: Chloe, Jasmine Reign (or Raine). I found out rather quickly I was having a boy, so I didn't spend too much time on girls' names ;) Another boy name I really like is Alexander. Oooh how about Chloe Marie? Maria Raine/Reign? Janna Justine! Katrina Justine ;) Hope this helps --- Good luck!

your line of thinking about how to name the upcoming children into the family, is just the way how it happened with me. it is not that easy to be coining and selecting names for our children. so, what happened was, since i always have loving thoughts about my mother, my eldest child got a derivative name from my mom. she is juana. my daughter is mary anne. ana became anne plus the mary for God's blessings. as for my elder son, the father wanted a junior. since i do not want my son named exactly rogelio, we had a derivative of it...rodger. add to this a holy name and we got mark rodger. as for the youngest, i was thinking of winning all the battles in my life. so, i said myself that i will win through every battle with the help of my son. he is no known to be darwin...that is, to give the win that i will need to have, countlessly.

Hello janyen! Honestly, I didn't think about it for now. We planned to have a child 5 years from now so you know it didn't occurs to me actually. Well, maybe a combination of your mom and dad and your parents - in - law would be better.

Congratulation for your pregnancy, and I am very happy for you. I am not much a name giver myself. For girl, I prefer Ashly, because there was a girl name I really like also named Ashly. For boy, I don't give much thought about it. Maybe harold, or something like Joey. You will figure out a better name than the ones I gave above.

My first son was named after his father, and he loves being a Jr. My second son is named after both of my mother's grandfathers. I would love to have a girl one day (I doubt that will ever happen), and she would be named Megan Marie. I love the name Megan, and Marie is my minddle name (and my grandmother's name).

I've always liked the name for a boy, Elliot Hamish(hamish being his middle name). And I've always been a fan of the name Connor. My sister had a daughter and named her Clara, which I think is a really nice name. And the name Rosaline is very nice.

I always think of naming my child Francesca (fran-ches-ca) Danielle from my mother's name Francisca or Francoise (fran-chwa) for a baby girl, and Lawrence (from my father's name). You may also try to search online for some possible names that pay sound very appealing.
