i love the original Sonic but do the rest suck?

I remember spending hours playing Sonic games on sega genesis. Even the other sonic games they made afterwords for sega were awesome. I remember loving a pinball version of it as well. Please tell me why all the newer versions suck!? All the ones ive rented and at times have purchased for ps2, wi, and ps3 but i was disappointed. I thought technology would excel and things would get better in life? I saw a new one for ps3 recently but havent tries it yet. I hope that one is decent. Only a matter of days before i cave in and get it. Have you tried any newer Sonics that your pleased with? Let me know please

I really like an older Sonic that was originally for Sega, but you can get in newer collections for playstation and xbox, it's called Dr. Robotniks mean bean machine. It's a lot like dr. mario, but it's good nonetheless. As for newer games, I have to agree with you, I played the demo for some new 3d sonic for xbox 360 and I thought it kind of sucked. It's a shame that Sega isn't making consoles, but to not make good games anymore either?
