i love the original Sonic but the rest of them suck.

I love the original Sonic the hedgehog and some other ones that came out for Sega Genesis but all the other newer versions just suck! Ive tried many other Sonic versions trying to please my standards and memories i have of the wonderful days playing the original sonic. None have meet my standards. They all are weird and just suck. Ive rented ones and have even purchased ones for PS2, Wi, and PS3 but i didnt like any. I recently saw a new one for PS# but havent got my hands on it yet. Anyone found a version there pleased with? Let me know please?

The sonic advance games for the game boy advance are pretty good but none are as good as sonic 1 through sonic 3 and knuckles for the genesis.

Ah, nothing will ever beat the Sega Genesis' original Sonic series. However, I absolutely loved the Sonic Adventure I and II games for the Sega Dreamcast.

Well if you really want the Sonic you grew up with, you could try Sonic Rush for Nintendo DS. It's 2D Sonic. There's also Sonic Rush Adventure. You could also look on ebay for the Sonic Advance games. As for the newer 3D Sonics, I can't really comment since I haven't played them that much.

I agree with you too. the new stuff out for Sonic does not appeal to me for some reason. It makes me feel like I am getting old because things I once enjoyed no longer seem to feel the same way. I wish they would create something like an old school game for some of these new gaming systems, it would allow me to create new memories for a new system because thus far I have not found a new one that satifiys my need for old style gaming.
