Hi Friends,
As many of you may know who follow my discussions I have a lot of things on my plate now (as everyone does I'm sure) and I issued an ultimatum to my Health Care providers, to get the ball rolling on some things or otherwise I would go public with my concerns.
But, that's not what I want talk about. There are so many things in my life right now then I can not do anything about at this particular moment as they are way beyond me and I need the help of others to solve some of my issues. I woke up this morning, to an unusable electric bed, that I can not use, unless it is adjustable.
Now there's nothing you can do to help me fix the bed, or to find someone to help me to get another. Since there's nothing you nor I can do to get out of this situation right at the moment, I said to myself OK, what do I have and what am I grateful for?The first thing I said was, well I'm breathing! So I'm grateful that I'm breathing. I'm grateful that I'm warm and that I have a roof over my head and food to eat. I have people around that love and care for me. The absolute best part of for me, I AM grateful for electricity! You see, if you're even bothering to read this far along, I fixed my own bed less than a week ago, and I thought it was broke again today. It however was not broke, you see Electronic Equipment works much better if it's plugged in. Thus electricity is a wonderful thing! How about you, although you may not have everything you want, what are you grateful for today that you do have?
Let's look on the positive side and as always your responses are greatly appreciated. Happy Mylotting!

I am greatful that a teacher gave me an hour to carry on with some work that I had to finish (as I have it basically finished by now.)
I am greatful that I am nearly at payout on this site (only needs about another 40 posts, and I should be able to get that done well before the 31st, which is over a week away!)
I am greatful for my family and friends, who I am greatful for everyday.
Most of all though, I am greatful to God for being there for me no matter what :)

I am thankful that after I post here for a little while I can take a nap for a few hours. My mania from yesterday has worn off and my body is rejecting all the work I put it through yesterday. Still, I can take it easy and do a little work. Tonight I go to writing group. I'm looking forward to that. So I guess the thing I'm mostly grateful for is the occasional lazy day after the artistic maniac day.

What you said, plus my children, the beautiful things in the world (art, music, nature, etc.), that I'm still employed...

I am grateful for lots of things, small things as well as big things. I am grateful for my fiance, my family and my friends. I am grateful for my rabbits and I am grateful that I am not allergic to animals. I am grateful that I have a place to live and that I have food to eat. I am grateful that I have had the chance to go to school and that I can read, write and speak other languages. I am grateful that I have access to the internet and that I am able to communicate with my friends. I am grateful that I have been given the chance to exhibit my paintings next week.
