I really miss getting lost in books. I love reading something and having a difficult time putting it down. It's been a long time since that's happened and it's prompted the question:
What is the last book you read that you had difficulty putting down?
I'm going to take your suggestions to heart and visit the library or bookstores in search of the titles you all suggest. Help me in this quest to find books I can't put down! :-)

It was My Antonia by Willa Cather. Its a story about a love that ends of not having the chance for the characters to tell or express the love that they feel from each other.
It all started since they were a child, the narator is the main character of the story. He tells everything from the moment they first meet until they grew up. The narator feels o inlove with antonia that he dis everything for her. Shared everything whether in sadness or in happiness.
That is one of the best story I've ever read.

The last one I had a hard time putting down had nothing to do with writing quality.
It was called Here Today Gone To Maui by Carol Snow. I was reading it while in Maui, I was longing for a light read, and there was just something fun about walking around some of the locations she was writing about.
Haha, I don't recommend making it your next purchase or anything. But it was humorous and I enjoyed it.

That would definitely have to be the Harry Potter books! I became so engrossed in those that the time just seemed to fly. I know that this is old news now but if you haven't read Harry Potter then I would definitely go for the entire series. Good luck. Andrew

The last book that I read that I had a hard time putting down is P.S. I love You. I just love to know what happened next. I didn't watch the movie yet. I will soon and see how it is in the film.

hi, the last book I read and had a hard time putting down was "The Avenger Of Blood" written by Miguel Batista. I had to order the book but it is available in some book stores, you would just have to do a search and see if it is available in a book store near where you live.It has short chapter but it's very interesting.
