IT jobs suck / myLot

I've been working in the IT for last 7+ yrs and I feel that IT jobs really suck, be it pure IT or ITes or hospitality or education etc. Though IT is a necessity but, a mere play in the hands of the other Departments specially Marketing/Sales/Accounts as they earn revenue for the company (nothing personal please!). So many IT policies have to be rolled back just because it does not suite a marketing/sales/accounts person, though it was utter necessity to save the computer from adwares/spywares/viruses. This actually doubles our work. It believe IT is merely a playboy in their hands. What do u think?

thats true especially when you work as a programmer - writing 1000s line of code, dubugging, testing amd much more is ofcourse a little fun but at the same time causes headache and stress.

Thanks 4 ur response. Not only for programmers, what I was speaking of was IT as a whole is a puppet.
