As a young Feminist, I feel as though my generation is lacking empathy for our cause. It is as if some women believe the battle is over, yet they are making $0.75 for every $1 a man makes.... Do women even care about their equality anymore?

I've always wondered about those statistics, the 75 cents for every dollar... I'm sure that the wages for all women averaged out would have to be lower because of the more frequent breaks in working from maternity leaves, or stay at home moms who re-enter the workforce when others are retiring. Every field I've worked with (which covers a lot) women were either equal or dominating the management positions.
I care about women's rights, but feminism isn't (and probably shouldn't be) what it was thirty or forty years ago. It doesn't really have to be a big push or struggle.

No, women care about sleeping around and being all stylish and buying the latest handbag and lipstick and being a career woman so they can dress in stylish clothes like it says on Cosmopolitan... *sigh*.
I'm being ironic of course... but I think that yes, that's the sad truth...
