I really love Jane Austen's work. I think that she's a really amazing author. Had she lived a little longer, I think that she could have written more astonishing work. I think that there may have been more stories in her that she might have shared with the world, had she lived a few more years. But sadly, now we won't know. However, one comforting thought is that she still was able to give us some of the best work in English Literature.

I can't even begin to tell you the number of people I know who claim Pride & Prejudice as their all time favorite book. I read it several months again and it was the first Jane Austen I had ever read. I liked it but I had a hard time reading it. I plan to read it again because I was having some really crazy things happening in my life at the time and might have been too distracted to enjoy it as I should.
