Have you seen the commericals for the New pizza at Pizza Hut? They say it is real pizza. Question. What were they serving before? A fake pizza? They are trying to imply that now they are using all these fresh , new ingredients that it is real pizza.News Flash. I liked the old " fake " pizza. And I am not sure I am going to try this new pizza. Are you going to try this new pizza?

I heard "Real" pizza from Italy is actually the bread part with the tomato sauce. The cheese, meats, and vegetables are the western influence that had nothing to do with actual events in history. In fact, I believe it is Round Table that fabricated the story they were the ones who started adding the extra ingredients in pizza

New York's pizza is okay , but Chicago is the best.

You are right. I am a fan on the FoodNetwork and they are always having shows about this history of foods, and pizza as we know it is strickly American made - the general basic idea is all that came from Italy. Then Chicago and New York started fighting over who has the best version! They bothlook great to me!

I have tried the new pizza and it tastes really good. It has a muti-grain crust which makes it better for you. So its a great thing for people who are looking to eat healthier or are on a diet. Don't know that I like it any better than their regular pizza but it certainly isn't a bad choice for a person looking to eat a bit healthier while still enjoying a piece of pizza.

Maybe that's the problem. I am not looking to eat healthier. I never had anything that is multi grain.I think I will stick to the " fake " pizza of Dominos.

Truthfully I haven't had a Pizza Hut pizza in years! It's not my pizza of choice...I really prefer Godfather's and that's what we usually get. So I probably won't be one trying the new pizza....since I found out I have high cholestral I don't eat it more then once or twice a year now....dang I miss pizza!

Once or twice a year? I would die! I have a pizza at least once a week. It is usually from my store's freezer but it is pizza. We use to have a Godfather's pizza in my arear about twenty years ago. They had thick crust pizza. I Loved, loved, loved it. they are better than Pizza Hut. I have a Uno's near me now. They have deep dish pizza, It beats Pizza Hut two.

I thought I was the only one to think things like this! I am told I am paranoid, but honestly it is really just common sense.... if the new is real, what was the old?!??! I know they have to have catchy little names for their stuff, but still...this one is a bit spooky!! What were we eating before?
I think they have over done the pizza world.... literally anything you want is put on a pizza these days.. which just takes away from the novelty of a pizza. I mean, pizza is cheese, and pepperoni or sausage... period. They throw so much stuff on top of them these days that they aren't even pizza's hardly... more an eggless fritatta.
And also. you get so many toppings on a pizza and the flavors run together and you can't hardly taste anything specific. Just a garden on bread! I like to taste the pepperoni and sausage. Throw in onions, olives, and more spicier things and they generate such a strong flavor.. I can't even "find" the pepperoni or another other topping! Give me the good old fashioned pizza - chicago or new york....they are the best!

I like the idea of a Margarita pizza. It is a little sauce, cheese and some basil. That's it. My favorite pizza is a Uno's deep dish with pepperoni. No onions or pineapple, just pepperoni.

The Crust is the best part of pizza for me.That's what I like about Domino's hand tossed. It has a great crust. You will like Uno's. There is a thick layer of cheese.

Plain cheese is fine,my problem is that they put so little on that it is hard to find! Most pizzas have nothing but crust for the first 2-3 inches in from the crust edge! IF I wanted just bread, I'd a ordered bread sticks! I have even asked for extra cheese, and although charged for it, never got it!! But I'll meet you at Uno's for that deep dish pepperoni - sounds great!

I think it has to do with how people feel lately about there food. A lot of new all natural or organic produts have been coming on the market. Even products that were fine to begin with have started coming out with their all natural products. You no longer have to go to a speciality store to find decent oraganic food. As for pizza hut they are just keeping up with the times and trying to get more customers to try their pizzas. The pizzas they were serving before were not fake they just did not have all natural products, which some people believe is worse for them. I will definitely be trying this pizza in the future and even if it tastes a little worse I will feel better knowing I am eating a at least a bit healthier version than some other pizzas.

Unlike Coffeebreak, I don't see pizzas a junk food. It Is already made from natural ingredients. How do you make a fake crust and pepperoni? And unlike you, I would Never eat something that tastes worstjust because it is healthier for me. I would rather die eating un organic foods then live longer eating something that I don't like.I have to write Pizza Hut. By trying to get more people to eat a " real" pizza, they are making a regular like me afraid that their pizza will taste bad.I have to write while I order Dominos.

Your post made me laugh - well, not your post, but just the thought "organic pizza". I just think society is going over board on "organic". Okay, it is good for you and all that, not against organic at all (other than it is so expensive I can't afford to buy it!) but there are times when you just can't change something that is the best! Pizza is a "junk food". I think it is a bit more healthy junk food, more than a Big Mac, but still... organic pizza... it is like saying hot cold. Which is it? Can't be both! And to me, if it were organic, it isn't a pizza. I'd have to say "please don't insult my best friend!"....call it Organic Spread or ORganic layer... just not organic pizza!!!

I have to agree with you. If the new pizza is real pizza what where they serving before. I wonder if they realize what their commercials make pizza hut sound like. I liked the old fake pizza also. I will have to think about it before I try the new pizza.
