I was startled yesterday as I was surfing the net. I was blog hopping then and I ran across a post that captured my attention. The particular line that I bumped into was ' Rustom died in his sleep in New York." I got curious and read the whole story. I was so surprised! He wasn't really dead. He was transformed as 'she." She made herself known as Bebe Gandanghari. She studied modeling in New York for three months and now she's back claiming that she's a woman physically, emotionally, and biologically.

I actually watched part of her interview with Ruffa on the Buzz. At first I thought she was just promoting a movie which was why she was in a woman's costume. Anyway, I am happy for her is she's really happy. But I think it's also a bit weird for Rustom to have that kind of change in personality right away. It makes me think that she's a bit psychotic...

I think everyone was surprised by this. I've known or guessed that he is not straight even before but this whole transformation thing is still flabbergasting. The media is in his or her tail now. I wonder what his brothers have to say about all of this. I just hope he or she is happy now. Of all the time, I wonder whu he chose Bebe Gandanghari?

I am seeing Rustom on TV and I don't like it when he acts as a gay. He used to be the matinee idol and now look at him. And he liked to be called Bebe Gandanghari, what a name.
I hope networks won't tolerate such things. It won't be a good example to the young.

Oh you mean Bebe?!! LOL.
I was in total shock when I saw him on TV. I knew it was a big thing that he's finally came out of the closet, but I didn't know he was going to change into this.
I just wonder why he chose that name..
And I also wonder what his ex-wife Carmina Villaruel thinks..
What about his mom and brothers..
My oh my, this news is pretty interesting haha...

I was also surprised when I saw him. It's really hard to imagine him acting like a full blown gay man especially when you know how cute and manly he was before! I wonder when he started to realize he was really gay? Because it was never evident when he was young. -cherry

Well I simply do not appreciate seeing perverts parading themselves or even proud of themselves. I may hurt homosexuals and lesbians around but this is my honest opinion. I still believe a man should be a man and a woman should be a woman. Now if one becomes a pervert, I don't think that is something to tell the world about. Rustum must be just honest of himself, well that is his prerogative but I am not comfortable watching him on woman's dress and acting that way. What a shame?

Oh yea I saw Rustom Padilla, or so now as he called himself Bebe. I don't know, but I just don't feel like used to seeing him that way. It's just not so right. However, that's his decision, he lives his life and if that what makes him happy, well I guess we should be happy for him too. Rustom, or I mean Bebe, is a smart person (I don't know, I'm not used to calling him Bebe yet! Lol, so I have no doubt what he is doing right now, he knows what are the consequences may he takes whether people will accept him or not. As for me, I'm not a fan of him but I enjoy watching on TV when I get the chance.

Yes, I've seen Rustom in TV with his new look, I don't like it though but of course we have to respect his freedom of choice and if he is happy with his new personality and as long as he won't harm anybody then let us just respect him as a true human being.

Yeah--Bebe (shudder).
It disappoints me, as a person living here in the Philippines--to see someone--someone FAMOUS, for that matter, act that way. We get the 'it makes HER happy' part, but in reality we STILL live in a Catholic-dominant country. She is the first one to do this publicly, and that--in a subliminal way--proves that what s/he did is somewhat socially acceptable. It shouldn't be. Call me conservative, but s/he should have been happy with what God gave her. I would have probably melted to the center of the earth of I were his/her mom. Imagine how her brother reacted! (shudder) If my older brother did a stunt like that, I would have punched him in the face. It's bound to take me some time to perceive that as acceptable, but as of now--no. Not yet.
Peace!

I admire her/his courage for coming out of the closet but I admire his answers more in "The Buzz." He said a person still has to maintain a certain level of dignity and respect for himself. In so doing he can also earn others' respect.

LOL! Well I guess he is living his life the way he wanted it to be. That was his problem a long time ago. He could not go out in the open because he came from a family where they are not allowed to reveal their sexuality since they are brothers of macho ones. I respect his decision to be like that although I see Rustom as one of the good looking guys during his days before. It is sad but then since I find him to be more comfortable of what he is right now then I think it is okay for him to be like that.

What a waste, i wish she would have given her face to some one else. well, if she is happy with it. and what's the point of asking Carmina Villaroel about him. Carmina has no connection with him anymore. that's the reason why she divorced him in the first place. it's a cold hard truth but that's her now. well, if the family accepts him, then who we are to judge.

Hello rieru08! I saw that news on the Buzz. I was really shocked that time because they said there that "Rustom Padilla! Patay na nga ba? at sino c bebe gandanghari? I don't know what they really mean by that at first but then finally when it's rustom's turn I was really shocked because that bebe gandanghari is he? I mean, if that's what makes him happy, it's ok. But it really seems unbelievable.

Oh yes, I just felt sad and sorry for his past. He should have been like that before thus no soul is being drag for comments being a part of his life before. I admire this lady however, she never give negative comments and I understand her if she turned down interviews for comments now. She has a very happy family now although she's part of the past of him, I think she don't deserve to be link her name always to a guy who has transformed as she has very young children to get affected somehow...

yes i've seen him/her. heheh. confusing. we'll anyways it's kinda weird seing him cross dressed and changing his/her name. And what is more funny bout it is his/her choice of his/her new name. Personaly, i still can't imagine how he changed that way so much. After a hunk image and a badboy in mista now a lady model. Im wondering how did his family accepted this. Hope he is happy the way he is right now.
