what would you do if the internet suddenly changed? what if we had to pay per search from all major search engines like from google/yahoo/msn? let's say you had to option to pay 1cent per search or 10$/month for unlimited searches? although it's not much to some of us, companies like google can earn a lot.. would you pay them to search the web?

hell no. that is gay and lame. what a waste of money. i would then go to the library and do manual research like the olden days.

Ouch. I don't think so. I think I'd have to cut down on my fun searches. Like the one I did a few minutes ago on KIM RICHARDS. You know, the little girl from the movie Escape from Witch Mountain. It would seriously curtail the fun factor

I might pay a minor fee like $10/month. However, if it was anything more than that, I'd be in big trouble. I use internet searches several times a day, so I would probably be forced to pay for the service. I don't know if I could afford a per search fee though.

omg. i'm gonna limit my search. and i'll first research in encyclopedia or library. newspapers would also be a good choice. hmmm. I don't know what's life would it be without free search engines. just think of it. very hard. but just think of the past - no internet. I think we could still survive. :)

Ooh - that would be terrible - I love searching the web! If it was the only option, I might pay $10/month for unlimited searching. If we had to pay per search I would have to seriously cut down because I do a lot of searching online. Let's hope that never happens! I really wouldn't find it annoying to pay these big companies money to search, but I might have to because the internet makes so many things so much easier.
