What are the craziest words your kids said to mean something else? My mom used to tell me crazy baby languages of her nephew when he was still 2 or 3 years old: imban = ball (bola in our dialect) bongo = light (suga in our dialect) lipeng-ge = lipstick (lipstick) onggo-leh = chocolate (tsokolate) mamam = milk (gatas) my younger brother: uslay = comb (sudlay) ikyoy = egg (itlog) bitado = Tanduay, which is a brand of a local rum. far-out, right? Lol!

Yesterday my soon to be 2 yr old son received a barney activity book from our neighbor. I'm so happy cos he can easily remember the things I taught him from the book. Though he still can't talk yet (at his age), I was surprised when he said A-ap for icedrop & moo for moon....As a mother it really excites me cos i've ben waiting for the moment that he will talk.

I dont have a kid yet but I had the chance to see my younger brother when he was a baby and then he started to talk. Really, it is surprising and overwhelming when they start to say their very first words. Even a giggle is a very touching right? I know you are very proud of your son. May he grow really smart. Happy day to you!

Well those words really sound funny. But at least his words sound very near to the actual one. I can foresee that he will be able to have better speaking abilities compared to other children his age. In other words he'll develop faster when it comes to speaking ability.

My little guy has a few crazy words that i have to constantly explain. NaNa = Milk, bottle, this signifies he's tired. He'll ask for "milk" if he's just wants milk, but when he says "nana" he's looking for a nap or a cuddle. Go-Go = Cookie, must be of the chocolate chip variety. Any other kind is just a "cookie" Dupe/Dupie = Diaper He says "need a dupie change" when he's wet/dirty Frog = Burp/Fart He says "frog in my dupe" or "frog in the mouth of me" I love is little words, and as much as I love seeing him grow up and use big boy words, I never tire of his little voice saying these crazy things.
