Today, I successfully withdraw $30 from my paypal to my eon account. Well, it's not that big but still it's an extra money for me. Anyways, I begun to withdraw that amount on Jan. 19. I add it as a bank account. My withdraw amount has been deducted by P50 as for the paypal withdrawal charge. I can't wait to see my money reflect on my eon account. So everyday, I always check paypal if the transfer of withdrawal is completed. Jan. 21 when I check my paypal account it is now completed. But it is dated as jan. 19.
Next procedure is to wait till it reflect on my eon. Check my eon online bank and there it is on Jan. 23, I was able to see the amount of money I withdraw from paypal. So overall the withdrawal takes 5 days. Here's the summary:
Jan. 19 - Tranfer from paypal to eon
Jan. 21 - Transfer Complete
Jan. 23 - Reflect to my EON account.
I thought I will have a hard time withdrawing my paypal funds. Thank God. Happly mylotting!!

You know what, using eon actually is more expensive than linking your paypal directly to you bank account.
I do have an eon account because I thought that was the only way to do it, but after reading the terms where you pay around $5 per transaction as compared to P50 when withdrawing funds through your bank, I'd say all these sweat from doing mylot shouldn't be deducted that much.
Try it next time, you'll save more.
Good luck! Happy Mylotting!

I agree, it's much cheaper to use your own bank account than the EON card. I just used EON to verify my paypal but after that, I always withdraw using another bank account and it takes the same number of days also.

Why is it cheaper to withdraw from other bank account? I withdraw my funds as a bank account. Are there any charge which is less than P50 if you withdraw it from other local bank account? I know it's just the same charge as with other bank accounts.

SpoiledBrat:
So how do I use my savings account number? Isn't it that paypal requires you to put your eon card number there and deduct your money? I have already done that, so you mean I can just change the account number anytime?
Romero:
No, P50 is the least amount for any bank. We were talking about using EON Visa card as compared to using your bank.

That's good news! Well at least for me because i still have to get myself an EON card. But at least i'm convinced that there's really a way to withdraw money from Paypal. I got less than $30 dollars in my Paypal account but still it's extra money. Can i ask, how did you verify your card? Sorry because i really don't know anything yet in terms of Paypal-credit card integration.

I just follow the steps done by other Filipinos using their eon account on verifying paypal. Here's what have I done:
- After claiming my eon card. I pay P350 and deposit P150 for the $1.95 fee that paypal charge when verifying your card.
- Wait until 2-3 days before my card will be activated. After it has been activated, enroll it on eon online banking. At the same time, I add it on paypal account. I successfully added it without any problem and I just input the expuse number to be seen on the online statement on eon account. Wait until 48 hours before you can log in on online banking.
- When I can now log-in my eon on online banking. I had to wait a day or two before the expuse number will be reflected on my eon account. After that day, I can now see my expuse and immediately add the expuse number which is the 4 digit and voila my paypal account is now verified.

hi romer!
what is an eon account? what i do with my paypal account is that i request its withdrawal to my local bank account.. plain and simple. and i can withdraw my money through atm or issue a check when i need it for payment. so it is pretty good for me. that set up really works and requires a minimal fee so i am happy with it.
take care and God bless you! :-)

Hello, thanks for sharing. I don't actually have an EON account. I always post about how I am able to withdraw my paypal funds straight into my BDO account. It actually takes about the same number of days to receive the funds and there is a fee as well if you transfer less than P7000 (I think). Anyway as far as I know, all major banks now accept paypal transfers, so you don't necessarily have to depend on EON.

Hi, congrats to you, I think there is no other better and cheaper way than using the eon card. True there are many ways but incomparable than this one. The cheapest of all. Happy my lotting

Hi! Yeah, I agree. UnionBank's EON is the most convenient way to transfer or withdraw funds from paypal. What's wonderful is that EON DOESN'T CHARGE/DEDUCT YOUR ACCOUNT Php200 BUCKS for the bank transfer unlike the other banks. :P The only deduction you will get is the paypal transfer fee of 50 bucks. I tried to withdraw my funds to my BPI bank account before and I got stripped Php200 of my total money. Then, I found out that most of the banks that accepts paypal transfer have this similar charge (BDO, MetroBank, BPI) except UnionBank EON. In fact, if you use EON regularly it will just take about a day before your money is reflected to your account (unless it's a holiday or a weekend,i guess coz my money isn't credited yet and I withdrew it last Wednesday).

Thanks and I hope this helps! Happy mylotting! :)

Congratulations..
Seems an easy and hassle free paypal transactions you got there.
I also already has an EON card since last month but I still didn't verify my paypal account using this card. I know I still need to deposit atleast P200 in my EON card before I can use it to verify my paypal account. I just want to earn atleast $100 before I will decide to verify my paypal accounts and withdraw funds through my EON card. Thank you for sharing that useful info with us here. How much do you got with that $30 in our local currency? Happy posting and keep earning..

Thanks for the response. I was lucky that I was able to follow the guidelines on withdrawing funds correctly. Maybe you should verify first your paypal now that you have your eon card. I just withdraw $30 to be familiar with the whole process on withdrawing funds from paypal to eon account. I think it's best to try to withdraw a small amount on your funds just to be familiar with the withdrawal process. The dollar-peso conversion when I withdraw it is around P45.86. I was able to withdraw P1,376 less P50 (paypal charge). It's not that bad after all That's all and happy mylotting!!!

Hi. I agree with everyone, UnionBank's EON is the most convenient way to transfer your funds from paypal. Plus, IT WON'T DEDUCT THE USUAL Php200 bank fee like if you transfer to other banks. What you withdraw, that's what you actually get. The only deduction you will get is the Php50 paypal withdrawal fee. I tried withdrawing my paypal funds to BPI before and my money got deducted 200 bucks and then I found out that UnionBank EON doesn't have that charge. BDO and MetroBank(and I guess the other banks too) credit the same Php200 charge when you transfer funds from paypal. And when you use EON regularly, it will just take a day before it reflects on your account.

Thanks and I hope this helps too!:)
