does space really bring back people together?

my boyfriend broke up with me last night. He was really harsh with the words that he told me but the following day he called me up and apologize but this is what he said: I guess we should really take some time off, give me a month. He insist that he has a bad feeling about me or he don't understand his feeling about our relationship. Maybe in one month he say he can think about our relationship and it give us sometime to realize some things that we lack, so I decided to give him this one monthe. I don't want to hope, and if ever the time is over what I will do with my feelings would depend on what he say.
I'm scared, that he might find someone else etc. isn't right? and does anyone had the same experience and really the space helped? share it. and I need advices. Thanks

Calling the relationship off for space purpose sometimes lead to break ups or second chances. It is the time where both of you have to realize things which is lacking or what went wrong with the relationship. Giving some time with each other a space is advisable to every relationship. It is one way to refresh things and realize if there is missing in the relationship.

well basically, those lines means im tired of whats happening between us that's why he needs a break. but to some people space does really works positively, i mean after that space, they will realize everything and will resume what has been paused. so if your guy really mean to break because he wants to realize everything that happened and if you both built a good relationship before, then positively he'll be back. but if he just say it as an alibi for something not align to your relationship then dont expect for him to comeback. maybe he found a new one and instead of telling the truth he just used those lines to escape... anyways, those kind of men are not worth to keep... : )

i don't want to bring the bad news, but being a guy normally when we say "we need space" or "lets take a break" it normally means i would like to mess around with other people. of course i do not know either of you so don't let me destroy your hopes, just look at it this way if it is meant to be it will be.
