remember the 'melamine tainted milk story' last year ?
the courts have passed judgement, and two men are now facing death sentences for their involvement in the whole thing...
the person everyone says is the most responsible for the whole tragedy, didnt get a death sentence, but life in jail...
many more are still waiting for their verdicts and punishment..
i say not fair.. but the courts have decided..
i guess the millions they had each made producing and selling those harmful and lethal baby formula... and whatever stuff they had mixed the melamine in... will not do them any good now, huh ?.....
i really dont understand what were they thinking.. profits only ??...
dont they care about the innocent lives they've sacrificed in the process ??
the link to the news is as follows :-

I totally agree that companies should be accountable for lives taken by products. I'd go even further to say companies who knowingly endanger the community with hazardous products and wastes should also be brought up on criminal charges. Case in point there was a company in Elliot Lake, Ontario, who poisoned the entire community with Uranium mining, and another in the same town who poisoned the entire town with asbestos. Children were being born with birth defects, many adults and children developed cancer - and the company basically got off scott free. This is nothing new. China hits the big news - but companies all over the world literally get away with murder everyday. They kill workers with unsafe work practices and working conditions. They poison communities with their industrial waste. People have to stand up and demand justice.
