How do you feel about home done tatoos

I have six tatoos total so far and all of them are home done with homemade taoo guns, htey were all done with steril needles and did not get any infections or anything. My question is how do you feel about getting home done tatoos? Would you get one done, some of them turn out better than professionally done ones and are alot cheaper. I believe that if you have someone taht know how to do htem and they use steril items that it should not be a problem then again that is just my theory on it. Let me know how you feel and if you would get one done or if you already have some done.

I have a homedone tattoo! it still looks wonderful till this day!

I would not have a home done tattoo.
the fact is, things like tattooing NEED to be regulated. with these regulations, artists MUST reach certain standards, and must maintain certain conditions.
I am sure that some home tattooists are very good, and may even be just as hygienic as a regulated establishment, BUT, if people are allowed to get away with doing it well, they will also be allowed to get away with doing it dangerously or badly.
so by having these regulations, we have protection if things go wrong. there is some comeback.
if you have a home done tattoo go wrong, then you have no one to turn to if there is malpractice.
