He probably got busted by the woman he replaced you with. Blown off. And he still thinks you are crazy for him. My God, woman! When would it hit him? He says he loves you. Rough. Trying to put pressure on you. You know how to lie, darn it! You did it at eight, why not do it at twenty.
You think. Think hard. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to get even. Revenge. Play him for a fool. He asked you the question. You need a safe answer. He bit the bait. You lost interest. Bad taste. Now, you can't even believe you wanted him before. And how easy he is. You stopped playing. It's an awful thing. He thought he'd let you think he had forgotten about what had occurred. You've forgotten about him. The nerve of him to approach you over an over everytime he has a failed affair. Rebound.
You tried to tell him it can never happen. He told you his lies again. He's hanging. On a cliff. And you are the only person who could save him. You're asving him again.
And uninterestedly, unceremoniously, let go of the rope. Let him drop. HE IS DEAD WEIGHT. =]

Good writing! I'm pretty much slow today and it's 1am now so i hope you'll excuse me i didn't get the point. I think it's the man's ego talking. You know after being busted by someone, he'll go back to the old one but still with pride then old one is at her usual stupid self believing every word he utters. Then he made her look stupid again and so she got wiser and never got fooled again by the same man. Next man please! The cycle begins.

Thanks, Modstar. Reading is much an effort as writing. You've pretty much understood what I wrote. =]
