loving versus admiring

Do you admire the person you love or do you love the person you admire?What do you think is the difference between admiration and love? I am afraid that I love my friend because he is so nice, intelligent, kind, generous, but I am also thinking that this is just and admiration. If I can see him I will miss him, if we talk my heart beats fast as if I had a hidden desire for him. BUt I never deny that I have a boyfriend now.. I am so confuse now with my feelings...
