I have posted here once that the match between these two fighter is not yet final because both parties wont agree about the percentage of the winning prize. But now Bob Arum, the promoter of Pacquiao has confirmed it to pacman that the May 2, 2009 fight is now a deal. Now it is time to wait just a little longer to see once again Manny Pacquiao fighting one of the knockout artist in boxing.

Well it's on! can't wait for this fight to happen. Hatton is tailor made for pacquiao a guy that constantly goes forward and hits hard. Again I still believe Manny will win this during the later rounds, he'll wear down Ricky first with his footspeed and punches then take him out. However, as I said, If Pacquaio gets cocky even for one second and Ricky is able to land just one body shot, then he is gonna have problems. Hopefully Roach can still put Manny's head in the game as he always does.

I had watched interviews by Coach Freddie Roach and I heard him say that let them punch Manny in the body if they can and Manny will knock Hatton out by a headshot. I think Coach Freddie is very confident in this fight and he even stated that Manny is in the best condition and if the fight is gonna happen tomorrow he would win it (Manny). He even said that if Manny would not knock Ricky Hatton out in three rounds he would be disappointed. Hope the best man win (and hope it is Manny)

It is just a week from now and I think both Golden Boy and Top Rank Promotions had announced that the tickets are already sold out. I wonder how many Filipino and British fans would be watching and how much their styles had adjusted to their opponent. I am currently watching the 24/7 series by HBO about the fight in which you can see how they have trained in the past weeks and their preparation for the upcoming fight. I just watch in in youtube Interviews had been out and even the trainers had a verbal argument in a conference call which all adds hype to the match.

awesome! i'm pretty excited now that the fight is on. i was getting a little worried because i don't know who could possibly fight pacman next. its great to see that the two will clas on may 2. i'm going to be rooting for pacquiao and for a knock out. he could possibly put hatton into retirement also (just as the rest of his victims)

I do not think Ricky Hatton will retire if ever he loses come May 2. I think he is just 30 years of age. Maybe just find another boxer to fight with. I think his trainer should think before talking first. Coach Freddie Roach is quite confident this time and stating Manny would knock Ricky in 3 rounds. What confidence! But really he knows something we don't like in the Oscar Dela Hoya fight.
