New Year's Day is coming, but I can't feel it!

New Year's Day is coming soon, but I feel nothing. When I was young, everyone around me would be so happy to welcome the festival. But now, the feeling is gone. people are busy with their work, studies or other things. I suddenly feel so bad about this. I can't believe it is the most important annual festvial of the year in a country.

Hello, I'm not sure where you are from but where I am from it is January 23rd already. I know when we celebrated it we wished each other Happy New Year. It is common to do so where I live at. There has not been a year that we don't celebrate the new year. There is always some place to go to celebrate the new year with people if not that someone is throwing a little party. So there is always something to do to celebrate the new year here.
