Getting sponsored for Skateboarding.

Ok, if there are any of you out there who are sponsored or looking for sponsorship. What ways are you seeking out companies? I am actually trying to put together a team and need to find the best way to find athletes. I put a place up on our forums for people to post their sponsor me videos (link below) But I really need to find a larger pool of skaters than just our current customers.

Well there is always youtube.But you could try setting up a company profile on sponsorhouse.Ask around at local skate shops or buisnesses if you can leave some flyers with a website and a basic description of what you are looking for.Or just go to the skatepark and post the flyers.I'm actually seeking a sponsorship right now but I have no video camera so I am kind of out of luck.

We have actually had some luck using some social networking sites and a few of the larger forums. You should check out the site anyway, maybe we can work somehting.
