So how many people out there don't really care too much for V8 Vegetable juice? I am not crazy about it, although I can tolerate it.
However, the V8 Fruit Fusions juices, with both veggie and fruit juice blended together, are wonderful and healthy! They contain 1 full serving of fruit PLUS 1 full serving of vegetables per 8 ounce serving. (If you ever pick up the LIGHT variety, which we did once by mistake, it is only 50% juice, not 100%, so you only get 1/2 serving of fruits and veggies per serving.)
They have many different varieties. My favorite flavor is the strawberry banana. I like them all, but that's definitely the best! How about you?

My kids really like those and the V8 smoothing drinks but didn't really care for them when I tried one but I have never really been to much of a juice person. However I have always like the regular V8 and will drink one or two a week. I guess it just depends if you are more of a fruit person or a vegetable person and I have always seemed to like veggies more than fruits. I do like that they are so healthy though so I can give it to my kids and know I am giving them something that is much better for them than just plain juice.

I love both fruits and vegetables. Yes, kids do love it too, so it's a great choice to give to them! Sneaking in some fruit and veggies never hurt! ; -)

hello bethany
i have never tried the V8 Fruit Fusions juice before, but i have seen the television commercials on them lots of times before. i am not crazy about V8 tomato juice either just to drink it straight like that. but i do like tomato juice used in cooking something thou. i bet i would like the V8 Fruit Fusions juice. i will have to see if i can find me a coupon on that and purchase me some of it at the store soon. how many different flavors of it do they have? and the banana strawberry sounds delicious.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

They have many flavors, I'd say at least 6-7 perhaps, never really counted...
I also use the traditional V* tomato juice when cooking certain things.

I am with you on this one, except that the Acai Berry flavor is far superior to the Strawberry Banana!

I agree, that is a good flavor too. I still have my own fave though. ;-)

I don't care for V8 vegetable juice. My husband likes it okay, but the smell of it reminds me of puke. Sorry! I haven't tried V8 Fusion, though I almost grabbed a bottle a couple of weeks ago or so, when I was at the store. I was curious to see if it tastes good. After seeing your post I'll have to make sure to get a bottle of it as you got me really curious about it now. LOL
As far as vegetable drinks go, I prefer to make my own with my juicer. I just need to get on the ball and get back into juicing. And believe me, fresh vegetable juice tastes way better than the V8 stuff. Heck, even my kids like it. And if kids like it, you know it has to be good!

I liked juicing with fresh produce, but I thought it was such a hassle and mess to clean up, so I gave away my juicer! It wasn't very convenient.

I find this discussion just as I'm drinking some Strawberry-Banana! It's my favorite and I go through about 1/2 gallon a week. I've only tried a couple of them so far but I would like to try the rest. Hubby and I like the low sodium vegetable juice as well.

I do not like the regular V-8. The v-8 fusions are good though. My 9 year old really likes them, which is good because he does not eat fruit or vegtables. I think it cost a bit much, almost $4.00 for a bottle. But I guess the cost of everytning is going up except our paychecks.

You can say that again!!
It's about $3.00 to buy them at my local stores. I always pick up a few when they are on sale.

The only way that I can manage to tolerate the V8 vegetable juice is to heat it up in the microwave. I think I trick myself into thinking it's tomato soup. I like it that way but I don't like it cold, but I like my veggies so I guess I don't need it for that. You know the V8 fruit juices are good when the kids like them too!

The very best thing to do is invest in a juicer...we bought one from overstock.com at a good price...easy to use...not much clean up...juices everything...veggies and fruits....Heard that Champion is one of the easiest to use and clean...Can spend a lot of money on juicers it all depends on what you need...some juicers are useless and can cost you time and money but...in the long run you are saving since juices in the stores are all concentrate NOT 100% juice at $2 to $5 a bottle..i highly recommend if you drink a lot of juice to invest in a juicer...be careful though as to which one you buy....do research etc before you spend the money....

We use V8 to make stew because it adds flavor. I've never been a fan of drinking it, I should probably give it a try to see if I like it.

Alot of things that are good for us don't taste all that great. I have gotten to like Splash and I know it is good for me. I like the acai one especially and the berry. All really.

I think V8 is on to something when they made the fusion drinks. We don't get enough fruits and veggies in our diets.
I can say I've never tried them. I'm not a strawberry fan and that was the only blend available when they firt came out.
I do love V8 though. To be honest, I use it to make chili even. I just feel it's healthier. I find blend veggies all the time and put into common foods and no one is the wisor to it because it doesn't "look" different.

my son hates vegetables and he just mentioned the other day that we should buy the fruit fusions and he would see if he could get his vegetables in that way, we have to wait until our checks come in though to purchase groceries that will be on the first, but we certainly want to try it.

That is one juice that I absolutely love. I love the strawberry banana flavor a lot. I don't care for the light flavor. I would rather have the full flavor. I don't care for V8 Vegetable Juice but I do love the fusion. I am glad that they came out with that. It is the tops.

Hi there Bethany,
I love the new V8 Fusion juices. In fact, I used to start my day out every morning with a glass of orange juice and now I have replaced my orange juice with the V8 Fusion juices. Like you I am not a big fan of the vegetable juice but I can tolerate it. I will drink it but I warm it up in the microwave so that it's more like tomato soup then a drink or juice.
My favorite flavor is the blueberry pomegranate and we do not have all of the flavors that you have in the States here in Canada yet. In fact, we've just got the large bottles in of the V8 Fusion, so hopefully they will get here soon.
I have now replaced my orange juice with these juices as they still have 100% of vitamin C, but also have, vitamin A and E, as well as many other micronutrients. The good old orange juice only has vitamin C, which is why I switched.
V8 fusion juices, now have a permanent place in my refrigerator. Happy Mylotting!
