i got an email today saying that my ebay fees are not paid and I cannot sell or buy or anything on ebay until they are paid and I do not have the money to pay the fees!! I do not know when I will either , but I need ebay to make money. Yuck. I hate bills. I hate ebay fees. It might be after the first of the month before I can pay.

Ebay clearly states that all fees must be paid monthly if you are selling there. I have mine automatically withdrawn from my checking account so I know that they are paid every month. I don't mind the fees other than they are high. I enjoy selling there and so I would never give it up.

yes, i hate ebay fees too. they seem so high! what i hate even more are the people that try to skirt the fees by only charging 99 cents for a bid but something like $30- for shipping. thats so wrong!

The emails I get from eBay about payment is that they must be paid by the next billing cycle so you should be able to buy and sell until that time. I haven't had any problems. If you are past due, then yes, you will not be able to buy and sell, until the fees are paid up.

You didn't mention what you were selling, but there are other venues that you could use to sell even if you just do so to raise your eBay fees and return there to sell. There is Amazon. Craigslist is free for most things most places. Go Daddy just opened a market place. Go Daddy has been a place that you buy domain names, website space frome etc. Go Daddy charges $4.99 a month + 10% commission fees. If you're selling anything handcrafted you could try etsy. Last time I looked it was like 10 cents to list something. There are all kinds of possibilities.
