Thank you for your responses. I have joined blogger.com and getting a little more comfortable making a blog. I just don't know all the extras I can use to build one yet but the more you participate the more you learn and become more comfortable using. I will try out the site you suggested. Thank you again

I also use blogspot (see my profile the first three links are my blogspot blogs). At first it can be a bit daunting and confusing to write a blog but i have found trial and error are the best ways to learn. Blogspot blogs are great because the format is quite user friendly and if you make a mistake you can easily delete a post or even an entire blog. If you need any help in navigating your blogspot blog don't hesitate to pm me, I'd be willing to help if I can. Good luck.

You don't give much information about what the problem is, so I'm going to have to make a guess. Your blog has to have a name and a URL. If you're starting one on Blogspot, you choose a name for the blog. Let's say its My First Blog. Then the URL would be http://myfirstblog.blogspot.com. If that's not what you're trying to find out, you need to post more information.

I guess I was a little vague. I now have a little better understanding of blogs. I really just didn't understand the concept behind why someone would want to have a blog. I still am a little unsure of that even though I understand blogs a little now.
I just wanted to know how to start one and what it took to do that. I have now found several websites that actually want you to create a blog with them. That is where I was confused before about the url. When I was talking about blogs and was asked about a url I was thinking in terms of a website url and now I know that when you create a blog you get a url for it also.
I'm still a little fuzzy on the purpose of blogs and why they became so popular. I have found them useful to get exposure for my website.
