well,Spring Festival(the Chinese lunar new year) will coming soon and I am so happy that I can have 7 days stay with my family... The Spring Festival is a traditional festival and more important for Chinese people and all the poeple, wherever they are, just hurry to go back to meet family this time every year... We put up red couplets on our gates...set off firecrackers...and keep on beating gongs and drums to to usher in a happy life in the coming new year...and we also will wear new colthes...will have a wonderful dinner and after dinner we will sit around to see CCTV New Year's Gala...And the other day when we go out and meet someone we will say 'Guo nian hao'that means I hope you good luck or happiness all the new year...
I post this not for discussion but for sharing...as far as I know Chinese Spring Festival is popular around world and what will you do in such a holiday...

Nice to meet a Chinese here. I am from Guangzhou and tomorrow it's already the Chinese New Year Eve. Chinese New Year is the most important festival for Chinese. But our customs won't as traditional as before. We will have feast everyday during this festival. It's nice that a whole family will get together.
I love China
