Everytime you turn around it seems that another celebrity is getting in trouble for something - now it's Miley Cyrus' turn. It seems the teen queen was caught texting her boyfriend during Church. Her pastor caught the couple and gave them a strict talking to: Thou shalt turn off thy cell phone!
Was Miley out of line? Tell us what you think

While I think she was out of line, I don't think she's the first person to do this. To be frank, I think her father and mother are not doing a good job as parents in many respects. She is pretty and talented young girl. I hope she grows up to have a full and healthy life. It seems no one is guiding her and everyone is using her.

This really doesn't seem newsworthy to me - but then again most things celebrities do don't matter to me or seem important.
A lot of people text in churche, though they shouldn't. And a lot of them are prettty discrete about it. Maybe Miley just needs to learn how to be a bit sneakier? ;)

Yes, I do think it's out of line to be texting in church. People are certainly addicted to their cell phone, blackberry, what have you, if they can't turn it off for even an hour. Attending church, a performance, a business meeting, anything where someone requires or expects your attention means that electronic devices should be off, in my opinion. They should be on when you are free to talk or text and where their use will not disrupt others -- most users cannot ignore a text message, an email or the vibration of an incoming call without at least knowing who it is or having an idea of what they want. Better they be off all together to avoid the temptation ;)
