I'm making Kraft Dinner for dinner tonight since my boyfriend and I are hurrying off to the movies.
He puts milk, margarine/butter and the sauce mix in his. I put only the margarine/butter and the sauce mix in. My mom puts all 3 in, but halves the sauce mix so it's not as cheesy.
After it's all together, I put pepper and ketchup on mine. My brother eats his plain. My boyfriend only uses ketchup. My dad likes cheeze whiz for extra cheese.
How do you prepare your KD?

I use a no-name brand and it is wayyy better than KD name brand. It has a full package of cheese powder in it.
Anyway, everybody says I make it better than they do and they don't know why. I'll tell you why. I put the marg and lots of milk, don't scrimp on the milk. It is what makes it so creamy. Just like warming it up in the microwave, just sprinkle a few tablespoons of milk on top before you reheat it and then stir and eat.
Personally, I mostly just put lots of salt and pepper on mine. But sometimes I'm in the mood for ketchup instead.

My husband is very picky... he just wants the cheese powder added to the hot mac noodles. Surprisingly, the remaining moisture on the mac tends to allow you to mix it pretty well. It dries out fairly quickly, however. He puts ketchup on his sometimes, while I like to put extra shredded cheese in mine.

I make it with the margarine, milk and cheese powder, basically as directed on the box except that I don't measure specific quantities. I just make it my own way LOL I usually serve it that way but my kids also like it with sliced hotdogs (weiners) in it from time to time.
