My son is now 1 year and 4 months old but he has a head lice, he keep on scratching his head because of the itch, I already tried shampoo to get rid of those head lice and the eggs. It was vanished before but now they show up again. Why? Any solution for this not to come back anymore?

The little eggs fall off so you have to treat your home, too. You have to wash your son's bedding, put any stuffed animals he has in either a hot dryer for awhile or in a plastic bag for a couple of weeks. You have to treat your furniture and your carpets, your son's pillow should go in the dryer, too, and the bed itself should be treated. You also have to use a fine comb after you treat him again with the shampoo and make sure that you get each and every one of those little eggs. If even one survives you he will become reinfested. Good luck.

We speak from experience, don't we?
I learned that lice like clean hair. A hairdresser friend of mine told me to keep a bit of oil in the kids hair because they can't attach to it as easily.

Oh yes! I can remember when one of the kids would bring home the Head Lice letter and by the time I got to the part that said whether my kid had it or not, I was scratching like crazy! With four kids we went a couple of rounds with the little buggers and it was always a pain getting rid of them. I never knew about the mayo...I'll remember that incase one of the grandkids brings them home.

Yes you are right spalladino, eggs fall off anywhere. My husband already told me about it many times to wash clothes, bedding, and everything but I did not listen to him. He'll just be the one to do that when he gets here.
Thanks for your info. Enjoy mylotting

An easy solution for a small child is simply to use mayonnaise (or shave his head). While the mayo is on his head you need to treat the house, wash all bedding and any washable toys. If they can't be washed put them into a tightly sealed trash bag and leave them for 2 to 3 weeks. Another option would be to just throw them away. Get lice treatment for the house.
You must comb the nits from the hair and be prepared to repeat the process in another week. One treatment is never enough. Remember to treat everything he comes in contact with and also check the heads of everyone in the house, including yourself.

I never heard about that mayonnaise, I think I'll gonna try that. We been using already the lice shampoo treatment, it worked and lice show up again. All I have to try this time is that mayonnaise then wash all the stuffs.

You need to bag up all his stuffed toys, wash all linens and things he may of touched or layed upon in HOT water.
Then you need to comb his hair out with a lice comb several times a day I think I did it maybe 6x a day and I sprayed their hair with a solution of water, conditioner, & a few drops of tea tree oil. And I did that everyday for a lil over a week. I kept the comb in a zip bag with rubbing alchol in it and I wiped the lice & nits off on paper toweling.
Also you can try some furniture spray fround in the pet department for fleas as they are along the same family lines. Or I would just steam clean what you can.
If you see eggs you can also cut that strand out with a scissors.

Id buy a decent nit comb a huge bottle of cheap hair conditioner get him playing in the bath put loads of conditioner on his hair and comb them right out its the safest and most reliable way to rid a childs hair you need to do this every day until his hair is lice free for a couple of days (and egg free too dont forget) and also clean all his bedding and do your own and any siblings hair too.
