I believe that we all have a china town of sort in our places.
I grew up in Davao City, where there is this place where the Filipino-Chinese sell their stuff there -- we don't really call the place China Town but it feels like it is one. It is in a long stretch of street called Uyanguren.
Then here in Manila, we have a place that is called China Town -- it is in Binondo. My parents are in LA, and they have mentioned of a chinese place there.
So, I wonder if you have a china town in your place? Also aside from China towns, we have a number of chinese schools in the country.

It is a typical china town indeed. I believe the place provides a cheaper varieties of toys. The Chinese restaurant serves sumptuous foods.

Cool.
Actually, the only Japan-related hang out places I am familiar with here in my country are the Japanese restaurants.

There are chinese schools in my area too... but i don't know of a china town... the areas where there are a lot of chinese businesses cannot be categized as such because there is the presence if other players like the so called "bumbay"... muslims... and local Filipino's...
It would surely be nice to have an authentic chinatown though...

Hawaii has a China town, but i didn't go often when I lived there. Once in a while I would go to eat or buy illegal fire works, but other than that, i didn't have a reason to go.
I now live in LA and there's a china town here too. There is also a Korea town, Japan town and a few others too. I still don't go to those places too often though because I can get everything I need elsewhere. It seems like most places I've visited or vacationed at has a China town.
