we all know that there are so many medical practitioners especially nurses who are working abroad. the demand for health care providers in other countries became the apple of the eyes of those in the medical field. even doctors in the country prefer to practice their expertise abroad or take up nursing for them to be able to work in other countries like US or somewhere in Europe. but with this, is there any hope for the Philippines to improve its health services when it is currently experiencing brain drain? How can the Philippines improve medical services when all the medical practitioners are leaving the country?

Hi good day to you blogs86,and good day also to all my kababayan here in my lot, especially to my friends online. . . Well this is my response to your topic entitled "medical service". Yah?! Youre correct many doctor go to other country to apply to be a nurse, the only reason why they are sacrificing their profession is because of the out come salary of being a nurse in other country was big than a doctor here in the Philippines. . . Well that is only my opiniom why doctor prefared to sacrificd their job to be a nurse. . . Well me if ever i graduate here in my course i think i will go to the job that i am really ready for! Even the salary was not good enough! Well that's all... Thank you very much! Happy posting and happy earning! ! !

I still believe that someday we will have better health services especially in public hospitals. It is just so sad that for one to get a quality service he or she should afford hospitals like St. Lukes, Medical City and the likes. Though the Philippine General Hospital could compete, the said hospital still lacks a number of doctors and nurses -- a perfect example of brain drain eh. How can we improve medical services? I can not pin point how, but I guess, if you have the desire to help the country, from there things might follow.

Well, poverty is one of the reason why Filipino keep on working into different countries. WE all know that our government and even those stock holders of private hospitals wasn't able to give a higher compensation and benefits to all of the medical practitioners.

First is to give opportunities to doctors, nurses and other health related work here in our country. Their salary per month is not enough to sustain the daily personal and house expenses. Our health workers are overworked but underpain. It's the truth. I know and have a lot of riends who are doctors and they are still struggling to start their practice here in our country. We only think and say to them that they are doctors which means that they are also rich, but in reality, they are not. Hospitals are not hiring enough manpower to sustain the work inside, that's why nurses and doctors are overworked. Hope our government sees our falling health system.
