For last 6 days I am trying to find a pattern in the top discussions of the day. I am confused by the discussions which get maximum responses and are get into that list. I am dreaming of what is the most sure shot discussion areas people like to talk about. I had one discussion few days ago which got me 25 decent responses (which is the best which I have received so far!) but it was in a span of three days. So can you people just reply back saying what kind of random discussions you all like to respond too?
Is this one upto your standard?

Hello balasri.
Thanks for your time and effort in responding to this discussions. So you really like to talk on topics that are very intellectually gruelling since I come to get a picture of you (from past conversations and discussions), that you love them.
And by looking that you responded to this discussion, it seems this discussion did made you think about something (though your reply was short).
Thanks again for replying back and do keep smiling and mylotting!

Come on bala. I should not be telling you this who is more experienced on mylot than me!
Don't reply in one word! Atleast type a single sentence!"
By the way can you tell me how do we put smileys in our posts?

I'm not sure, I guess everyone likes different discussions.
I mostly respond to discussions of my interest, and since it's in my interest section, I am most interested to respond to those discussions. :D
I just go down the discussion list and if I like a discussion, I decide to respond to it.

Hello pweety_princess.
Thanks for responding to the discussion. It was really a valuable contribution to the topic's dicussion.
I am sure that everyone likes to respond to discussions of their interest. But what I am looking forward to is people posting their interests and type of discussion they would like themselves to see in. Like I would like to be in discussions which talk on things that concern global security, environmental issues, on relationships and much more. I am looking for that kind of replies.
:)
But still as I said before every response is important for a discussion and I do appreciate your effort too.
Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hello ashveen.
Thanks for responding to the discussion, but can you be a bit explanatory?
I didnot get your point clearly.
So if you can spare a bit time in expaining it, it will be more helpful.
:)

This one is definitely up to my standards, yes I don't think there really is any rhyme or reason for the Top Discussions, they are just there. I generally do not go to that page, preferring to check out the New Discussions pages instead
Just post questions that come to your mind that you want to discuss with others and all will be well
Congrats on your topic that generated 25 responses, that's quite a lot!

Hello fwidman.
Thanks for that encouraging post.
I too do that many times to check the no responses section first. then to new user ones and finally to recent and top discussions. That way I can be the first to respond to many discussions and also help increase my Post count!
lol
Thanks once again for posting.

Hello lihongyi.
So you prefer to talk of things which do have some kind of materialistic value and those that interest you?
And about the times when you are annoyed to find to talk on something then you are too in a phase of being a 'Discussion hunter' (about which I have explained in anothe rof my discussion threads just started 10 to 15 minutes back). lol
