online English Learning in China?

I taught In China for four years and taught basically students from all levels. I was amazed by the hugeness of English Industry in China. I decided to go back to my country last year. I am doing part-time online tutoring to Korean students now. Online English learning sites seem to be very popular in Korea now as evidenced by many Online English tutoring sites. I'm wondering If there are any online English Tutoring sites in China and are Chinese students embracing this kind of learning? Share me your thoughts.

oh! very interesting!!! i teach online for koreans currently. i have plans teaching abroad, perhaps in china or korea.im going to take tesol actually..it's pretty tough right? how were you able to teach there? help me...please...

You could try some online schools. i think they more exciting because most teachers are trained to conduct a very lively conversation. but if it doesnt help, you could resort to an actual tutorial class. hope i could help. ^_^

hi Rain. You can ceck on eslemployment.com(direct hire), workabroad.com(phil agency based). You have to get your TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate first. Degree, TESOL certificate and Teaching experience are the three major requirements to get a working visa in CHina. Let me warn you though that 98% of schools prefer to hire native speakers or if not, foreign-looking people. Goodluck!

Office people might seek online tutoring to enhance their oral English capability. In this respect, the native speakers will be your big challege. Here we do have a lot of English programs run by foreign companies. Chinese with overseas background have advantages in finding a post there.

Thanks for the information. I've seen a lot of Chinese learning sites but I haven't stumbled on English sites catering to Chinese students.

Lots of online English Tutoring sites in China today, which I favorite is "studioclassroom.com", it is totally free and has colorful and rich content to lead us to English world, and I am work in an office, so I can listen to it and read it at lunch break, it is really wonderful. Meanwhile, I hope you can bring your idea into practice ASAP, then I will learn from you, lol
