Have you tried your luck at getting your submitted links to Digg's homepage only to realize that your efforts have been without success?
The bottom line is that Digg is flawed since it works on a voting system, all it takes is a single click to promote new content and it all comes down to how many friends you've made on Digg.
The second reason that Digg is flawed is that the traffic it generates to your site is unqualified, they generate an extremely high bounce rate. So even if you did receive the traffic, you'll probably end up regretting it.
The alternative is to use a site called http://www.hypick.com which allows you to not only post links from external sites such as yours but also allows you to speak your mind on various topics. The major difference is that topics are promoted based on participation, the more active a topic is, in views and replies the more it gets pushed towards the homepage.
It's an easy and effective alternative. What are your thoughts on http://www.hypick.com
