I haven't been able to travel abroad just yet. I have gone to some places within the US, but no where outside of it. I would love to go to Ireland and other places, it's just a matter of time and money to be able to do it. I might look into some mission trips so I can go to these countries but also do some good while I'm at it.

Hi shav9292! I'm from the Philippines and I've traveled in some countries just here in Asia. The first country that I have traveled was China. We went to Hongkong and Shenzhen. I've also been to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. We are going to Macau, China next month and we are staying at Grand View Hotel in Taipa City. I haven't been to India but I'd like to see the Taj Mahal someday. I'm glad there are several airline companies that offering cheap fares. Usually you will ride in air buses and food is not provided but it is good enough if you are going to countries near yours cause most of them will just take less than three hours. You can try to book your flights earlier as well for discounts. Hope you can visit here in the future =)

I travelled abroad from my country -Italy- lots of time... the most of those journey were unforgettable experiences, useful to open my mind. I really love oriental destination. i've never been to india, but i'd like to. i've already been to china and to nepal I really like those places, very different from those in occident. I love the sightseeings, and oriental cooking.

Yes. Sadly, I only go abroad for conferences. I hope to get this fellowship in a couple of years which will allow me to travel abroad for more enjoyable pursuits. Granted, if I get the grant I still have to write a book at the conclusion of my journey or give money back (not happening). But it seems a little more free than my other international journeys. The reason I say it seems more free is because I choose where I go and what to do while I'm there except for on three occasions when my assistant gets to pick. I think that's only fair. They spend an entire year with me so they should get to pick a couple of places.

I hope that you will get to travel abroad one day soon. When I was a child I traveled with my family to France. As a teenager I saved up to go off traveling and went to Greece, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Tunisia and St Lucia. At age 20 I let out my home and got a working holiday visa to go around the world. Since then the total number of countries that I have been to is over 50. My last trip was in January and that was to South Africa. I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route.
