I'm a newly registered nurse and up to this moment, i still live with my parents and i am still needing their care and financial support. I have already applied for a work abroad, that means that i would have to be far away from home and learn to live independently. I am excited but also scared of this scenario. I don't know if i could learn to live the real life. How does one start of to be independent? I would appreciate your thoughts and advices..ü good day..ü

Hi again! It is easy for someone who is really independent and hard for those who grew up very dependent. Am not talking about financial support since that is a natural obligation. On my part, I had to deal with my homesickness, but I was able to manage it. It wasn't hard really because ever since, my parents and grandparents knew of my strong personality in handling situations and making decisions. I only had a hard time when it comes to cooking because am not a good cook. Other than cooking, have not encountered much problem.

Hello.ü i am used to so much responsibilities since childhood because my parents never tolerated me being a brat..ü so i guess my anxiousness of independence is not about the chores or finances but more on the adjustment to a new life.ü a life where the only one you can turn to is yourself..ü thanks for the nice insights..ü Happy mylotting.ü

I agreed but without security its doesn't means , means do you feel in cureent situation where there in every independent nations have democracy but not single people feel secure since there are lot of curruption , terrorism then do you feel that you are independent

No friend i do not think it is hard to be independent only thing is that you have to be more cautious and watchful at the begining of your start later on you will find it easy when you are tuned in and familier with culture of your work, colleagues and the place where you live. As you are in nursing filled I suggest you to join the best social site for human rights called "nursescorner.com". Their you can meet most of members who are from your profession they can help you and explain you about your carrier.

Buddy stop worrying of being an dependent on your parents. Because in the whole universe they are the only people who will not expect something in return. But they want their children to be well settled. so the matter of scenario a at new place depends upon your confidence .
