few days back i read about Charles Ponzi who made millions from running a business which never existed. Basically all he did was to pay the existing members from the deposit he got from the new members, and such schemes came to be known as "Ponzi Schemes" but his business did not last more than 6 months ... later he was caught and imprisoned. Bux.to has been running on the same principle, i think they might have made more money than Charles Ponzi, and above all they still stay online and keep scamming more people. So my questing is, should "Ponzi Scheme" be renamed as "Bux.to Scheme" Coz bux.to has shown better techniques than Charles Ponzi himself.

I think Ponzi gave his name to the scheme because he was the first to really put it into practice and scheme a lot of people out of their money. So it wouldn't be right to drop his name entirely...he earned the right to live on in infamy! However, since bux.to has brought the ponzi scheme to the Internet in a big and original way that has inspired so many other scammers, maybe we should call Internet ponzi schemes bux.to schemes, or bux.to ponzi schemes! I bet over the years more people have lost much more money due to regular ponzi schemes than to bux.to and all the other bux sites combined. That may change in the future, unfortunately.
