Do you wish there was edit button on my lot ?

we do have an edit button before we post, so you need to get all your editing done then, after you post it is too late.

Hi friend! I wish there was really an edit button if you are the thread starter right? I don't usually preview my discussions so sometimes I have wrong spelling or a little grammar error or a repeated word sometimes.

Yes, I sure do! No matter how many times I proofread a discussion or response before hitting the submit button I almost always find an error in my writing after I posted it. It is sooo frustrating! However, it shouldn't be allowed until we hit a certain number of posts, just like with the copy and paste feature. Maybe admin could allow it after 1000 or even 5000 posts. Somewhere in those lines so that we can have that option available to us eventually. You might want to contact mylot admin with this idea. Don't forget to send the link to this discussion so that they can see for themselves that others on here want it too. Good luck!

I think Mylot thinks that if you do a preview and read carefully over your post and then edit errors, if any, before hitting the final post button that that is good enough. I know I have sometimes been in a hurry and just hit post and then realized as much as seen that I had a typo or left out a word or something and wish I could change it. But I don't think Mylot will add the feature of allowing you to edit after hitting "post discussion" or "post response" but will expect you to use the preview and catch any errors then.

Yes, I think that's a good idea to be able to edit, because sometimes we misspell words and don't even notice, only notice it after it's posted.

yes..that's a great idea.. sometimes there's a typo error that i want to undo.. i wish the admin will do something about it..

Yes! I always thought there should be an edit button! Almost all the time I got annoyed I couldn't edit my posts, because I had to be extra careful of how I spelled everything... and if I did a mistake then I couldn't correct it, adding comments to your own posts afterwards is the only solution, but it's a waste of time.

Oh yes, I wish there is "edit" portion here. I also encountered and experienced the same like yours because sometimes I submit my discussions and responses right away without previewing it for me to edit mistakes. What you wish for actually is that there is "edit" feature to our posts after it has been submitted and open for discussion. I hope mylot will think of that suggestion because many mylotters want an "edit" feature.

Yes. i sure do. I wish we could go back and change things in our responses or discussions. I wish we were able to get rid of old posts or discussions also.

Yes, I fully endorse your vies and strongly feel about a need for an 'edit' button on our windows, specially, while submitting our replies. However, if you go for 'preview' of you response, you get the opportunity of editing your text. On the other hand, if you have pressed the 'post response' button, you cannot rectify your reply. An edit button would be great if it was set so that only the writer can do the editing. When I have written something - then added the tags and I see a mistake I have made I just want to scream. Yes so here is my plea "MyLot please figure out a way to give us an edit button." Thank you in advance for providing us with one.

I definitely wish we could edit our old posts as well. For some reason, I'm extremely typo prone on myLot. I guess I just need to take more time to go over my post before submitting it, but it's very frustrating when I look back on a post I've just made and notice some ridiculous typo that makes the whole message look stupid! I seem much more likely to make typos here on myLot than I am in any other form of writing...I don't know why!

i can't say any other words than agree with you. eventough there's a preview button, but sometimes i just missed my spelling and do something that violated the mylot rules. and just realize after submitting the comments or responds.. i wish mylot put the edit button after this discussion started :P

Yes I also agree. An edit button could be very helpful for us.

Yes i wish there was an edit button on mylot.It will help me to rectify mistakes.It will also help me to remove double posts.If i have forgotten something i will edit the post and type again.

yes i think so too. But i think they deliberately didn't have it simply because since it is paid site and they pay by the length of your answers ( i think so ) and they credit ur account daily so they dont want someone decreasing to increasing the size of their reply or question and thus effecting change of total balance.

YES I WISH THERE WAS AN EDIT BUTTON BECAUSE I'VE REALLY FACED PROBLEMS IN STARTING DISCUSSIONS DUE TO THE LACK OF IT ...SOMETIMES I DECIDE TO ADD A PICTURE LATER AND WHAT I FIND LATER IS THAT IT LEADS TO TWO DUPLICATE DISCUSSIONS..ALSO IF I NEED TO ADD STUFF ..I CANT BECAUSE IT LACKS THE EDIT BUTTON...i ALSO BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A DELETE BUTTON..
