Cellphones are good for emergencys but are they really good while you are driving in the car. Do you think that you would loose control of your car. What do you think are they good or bad. Either way they can be good but in this case there good to me.This is why they have bluetooths.

the purpose of cellphone is for good.. but sometimes people use it inappropriately that lose the real essence of cellphone.. we should not be a slave of technology, because we are the one innovating them!.. it should improve our lives, but how can it be if we dont use it appropriately?!

I think cell phones are good, so long as they're not used as toys. I see so many teens so addicted to their cell phones that they experience withdrawls when they can't text or talk all day long. I think those instances are very negative. I think they're a good tool for business (like the Blackberry, for example), and for emergencies. I've had many experiences where I've been on the road and have received "I've got to talk to you now" type calls from various clients, and that's been a huge help. Pulling over to talk is always a pain, but I get over it. LOL

Cellphones are good to talk during emergency. But they should not be used at a wrong time.We can use bluetooth in the car.But we should use it only for emergency calls or else we may lose control in driving.Cellphone is a boon to modern mans llife and should not be misused.

As in most things, in depends on the user of the object and not the object itself. If the holder is responsible and is not negligent then even a knife is a good tool. It's good though that some things are forcing people to take responsibility over their actions - I found out that insurance companies wouldn't pay for any damages if it was proven that the driver of the car in the accident was on his phone (texting or calling or whatever) while driving. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I agree, cell phones can seem a little unsafe in the car, as you have to use one hand to hold it, thereby only having one on the wheel. I guess if you usually only drive with one hand (gangster style) this wouldn't be so much of a problem, unless you get really distracted by the conversation...But then it's just like talking to a friend in the car, I suppose. Bluetooths would definitely help though, definitely.

Cellphones are neither good nor bad. Its your actions that puts others and yourself in danger when you use them inappropriately.
