I thought I saw a ghost!

Have you ever looked into the eyes of someone and thought you saw someone you knew it couldn't be? The person to whom you thought you were looking at has been deceased for years. Yet, standing before you is a person that looks exactly like that person! This morning, at my grandson's basketball game, it happened! My son had told me that my first cousin's oldest son had been the referee at their very first game. But he had no idea he would show up at the games this morning. We were sitting there watching the game and my son reached over and said, "there he is!". I looked up toward the entrance and sure enough there he stood! I was amazed at what I was looking at! There was no mistaking who that man was! He had the pure image of his Dad, build, color, you name it. The only exception was his hair which is gray. His Dad died at the age of 50 from a kidney disease and never had hair. But, for that one thing, I thought I had seen a ghost! I knew he kept looking toward us, but I had no idea that he actually recognized me after the many years it had been since I had seen him. But, as I got almost to the door, he reached out his arm and asked how I was doing and hugged me! I told him that he looked exactly like his Daddy and I couldn't have missed him. He told me that often people will come up to him in the grocery store that don't know him and will tell him that very thing.
