on Friday I had my second tattoo.
the one on my back didn't really hurt at all, it just felt scratchy.
but this one was on my foot, and it really hurt. I absolutely love it though, its gorgeous.
so I was wondering.
where are your tattoos located, and how much did they hurt. if you have several, which were the more painful ones.

My two are on my arm and didnt phase me at all..my next one is either going to be on my lower back OR (cause that will be pricey) on my inner lower arms....I've HEARD that getting it done there can be painful but I suppose it depends on the pain tolerance of the one getting it ya know..I have a very high pain tolerance so hopefully none of the ones I get will bother me much...
Love the tat btw

although the skin is quite thin, I've heard that the wrist isn't as painful as you'd expect. maybe the inner arm would be much the same.
I have a scar on my wrist and would quite like to have the word Everlong to hide it.
I've told Mister I'll do it if he lets me have it as our first dance song (he wants Tame by the Pixies. I think it should be at least a bit romantic)

FOr me it was on my shoulder. I have a faerie there and her wings span to my backbone and that's where it hurt really bad. I got one on my lower back which didn't hurt, it felt scratchy like you said as did the one my calf.

It looks very beautiful, Galena. I haven't got a tattoo yet but I do want to have one in the (near) future. The reason I am waiting is because I am not too sure about the location of the tattoo yet and I want to be absolutely sure before I go through with it. It's good to hear that even though it hurt you are now very satisfied with it . Enjoy it!

I have one on the back of my shoulder, which didn't really hurt much. I think it only really started hurting a little towards the end, but the pain was really bearable. However, I have a friend, who has a tattoo on her foot, I believe, and she told me that it was really painful.

I'll list mine from most painful to least painful. 1 on my ankle. 1 on my abdomen. 1 on my shoulder blade and 1 on my thigh. The bonier the area the more it hurts. I got lucky with the one on my shoulder though, he hit a nerve and it went numb for the second half.

Last year I got a 8 inch tatoo on my outer thigh. Hurt a bit but only because of the many colors that were involved in it. Listening to music while I was getting it really helped, as soon as he would turn it down, I would start feeling the pain a lot more. It was my outer thigh which tends to have a good amount of fat, so I imagine it does not hurt as much as one would somewhere over a bone. But I was thinking about getting one on my foot done anyways. Although the pain was somewhat annoying at times, I easily handled it. I'm not too sensitive about things like that.
I am eagerly awaiting my next tatoo and hope it will be soon. First I just gotta figure out what I want and where I want it.
