Before I don't tag my responses but now I tag all of them since its going to ask you again to tag the discussion if you respond again.

When responding or starting discussions, I always add Tags, although I try to make descriptive of what I have written, but different to existing Tags that are shown.
The reason I do this is because I beleive we all have a slightly different viewpoint on the discussion, so if we all tag it slightly differently but in a relevent manner, it will be easy for MyLot to archive and can be called upon easier in a search for the topic.

Nope! I only add tags to the discussions that I started - it's only for searching anyway. And it's a waste of time really because even their search functionality doesn't act that way. I just close the tab window when they page asks me to add tags because that means that my response has already been posted successfully.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

sometimes i do and other times i forget and move on quickly to the next subject, it depends on how indepth I get in my response if I want to add more or not.
I have done that too with creating a discussion, sometimes i think it fits so many catergories, and other times I think it may only really be fitting for the one tag. so it really depends on the actual discussion dont you think? ...LOL

I always add tags when answering to discussions and creating my own discussion. I think it helps in locating specific discussions/responses to discussions when searching.

I add tags to discussions if I can, but some discussions just do not lend themselves to being tagged. Tags are best if they are short and even better if just one word and for some discussions, I at least can't quickly come up with something that fits the discussion that is concise. But I do try to add at least one tag when I can.

Sure I do, it only takes a second.
I just don't find it annoying in the least because it's not a long drawn out process. No big deal to me and sometimes it helps the people who are making the discussions attract more people I think, in case they punch that in to do a search.

At first I was putting tags on everything, but then I found out it was not necessary, and it's really annoying!!!! Every time you respond to a topic that tag pages shows up! Let the person who made the topic add the tags not the people that are responding to it!
