I generally like tattoos on men, but not so keen on women unless they are just little, like a butterfly, flower etc. When I was young and stupid, I let a girlfriend do a small homemade tattoo on my arm,but then my dad came home and we stopped in the middle of it. The following day ,I regretted it,so never got her to finish it and tried to cover it for many years from my Dad. Anyway I looked into trying to remove it which was costly and still left marks so I decided one day I would get a cover up job. So recently I got it covered over with a red rose, which looks alot better than it did before.I donate blood and that is one of the questions they always ask(have you had a tattoo in the last 12 months) so I need to contact them to see if I am still able to donate, does anyone know about this, please let me know. And also Do you have a tattoo and what do you think of them?:)

It has to have been at least 12 months since your last tattoo before you can donate blood again. Because if you're going to get hepatitis from the tattoo, it'll have reared its ugly head by then. I have 2 so far. No regrets whatsoever. One on my left shoulder which is a large rose. One on my right ankle which is a tribal that contains tribal zodiac symbols for me, my son and his dad. I plan on getting several more. Actually, in the near future, I'd like to get the Autism ribbon with my son's name across it on the back of my neck.

I don't have a tattoo due to the fact am afraid of needles lol sad but oh so true. Well i read what some of the people said about your first question and i think they are right also, I think they ask that question to make sure you don't have any diseases, because a long time ago they needles weren't sterilized or disposed of and people got sick. I think certain tattoos look good on men I don't like to many tattoos on woman either nice pretty small ones are good but I hate when I see people over do it with the tattoos; however if the tattoos have meaning behind it then i really like it a lot.

I still donĀ“t have a tattoo. But I have a piercing slash on my belly that sometimes I think of covering with a tattoo. I saw a pretty one once but i keep thinking that it will hurt and I hate to feel pain. Well maybe one day. I like tattoos very much.

I am not sure here in the US, but in the Philippines, you can never donate blood if you have tattoo. That's the reason why I didnt have any. I was about to, but when I learned about it, I didnt want to have one anymore.
